MonkeyDonkeyGame is an independent game development company founded on November 11th, 2023, by Elias Bergstrøm Waage in Norway. The company was created with the goal of developing fun, engaging, and creative interactive experiences for players across multiple platforms.
We primarily focus on developing virtual reality (VR) and PC games, with an emphasis on immersive gameplay, player interaction, and unique mechanics. Our projects are built using the Unity game engine, which allows us to create flexible and scalable games across different platforms. Our development work mainly involves programming in C#, which is used for most gameplay systems, and Python, which is occasionally used for tools, scripting, and backend-related tasks.
As an independent studio, MonkeyDonkeyGame handles all aspects of development internally, including game design, programming, testing, and ongoing updates. This allows us to stay closely connected to our community and make improvements based on player feedback. As of 2025, software development is a smaller part of our work, with the primary focus remaining on games.
