MonkeyDonkeyGame is an independent game development company founded on November 11th, 2023, by Elias Waage in Norway. The company was created with the goal of developing fun, engaging, and creative interactive experiences for players across multiple platforms.

We primarily focus on developing virtual reality (VR) and PC games, with an emphasis on immersive gameplay, player interaction, and unique mechanics. Our projects are built using the Unity game engine, which allows us to create flexible and scalable games across different platforms. Our development work mainly involves programming in C#, which is used for most gameplay systems, and Python, which is occasionally used for tools, scripting, and backend related tasks.
As an independent studio, MonkeyDonkeyGame handles all aspects of development internally, including game design, programming, testing, and ongoing updates. This allows us to stay closely connected to our community and make improvements based on player feedback. We believe that games should be enjoyable, fair, and continuously evolving, and we aim to support our games after release with updates and improvements whenever possible.
In addition to game development, MonkeyDonkeyGame has experience creating software and experimental projects. While software development is not our main focus, we occasionally explore it when it aligns with our interests or helps support our game projects. As of 2025, software development is a smaller part of our work, with the primary focus remaining on games.
